After Hurricane Ivan, a friend of ours was walking the beach in Pensacola. Since no one had been there for several weeks after the storm, the shore was littered with the most incredible treasure trove of shells, washed ashore by the storm that destroyed so much, for so many.

We cast  directly from the shells, preserving the design in silver, forever...
