The design of this unique piece of Fleur de Lis Jewelry is inspired by the 'St. Francisville Button'-- a button. shaped something like this, said to have been made and used by French Colonists in the area of St Francisville in the 18th century.

There is a hand made clasp/pin on the back-- slightly visible in the photograph.
